For an unusual and inspiring activity, stop by New York’s CANstruction exhibit at Brookfield Place, NY.
Canstruction is an extraordinary annual design competition that combines charity and creativity. Teams of architects, contractors, and engineers build sculptures out of cans of food. These large-scale structures are placed on display and later donated to charity.
This year, Canstruction is celebrating its 26th Anniversary in New York with 30 teams building displays. Awards will be granted in several categories, including Best Original Design, Most Cans, and Structural Ingenuity.
This event is open to the public. Admission is free, although visitors are asked to donate a can of food. At the end of the exhibit, all canned food will be donated to charity.
